Thoughts for Dec 31

Weird how the "New Year" brings introspective thoughts.
I recently came across a blog I wrote earlier this year. It was interesting because I had totally forgotten about it. I would share it with you, but it is a secret. Just kidding I'll tell you.
When this year started, I felt like it was going to be a year of change for me. I didn't know what would change, but somehow I could feel big things on the horizon. Good things. It was kind of exciting.
So, in April I applied and was accepted to BYU.
Then in July I sold my house, paid off all my debts and moved in with my parents.
Then I met someone who I really like and he helps me stretch and grow and learn so much every day.
It has been a good year.
I tried being a computer geek for a while.
I tried being a seamstress for a while.
But mostly I study a lot and make jewelry a little and everything works out.
Wonder what next year will bring....

Mini Kidnapper

What if I am raising a serial killer? Either that or a cult leader. I don't want to jump to conclusions. But, I am sure Charles Manson's mother felt the same way.
We are reading a book about a girl who lives in New York City. The girl talks about being street smart and avoiding interactions with strangers. My little future kidnapper says, "When I am a grownup I wont steal children, I will just ask them if they want to go swimming."
See she is already planning her devices.

Pro Wrestling

Admittedly, back in the 80's I never got into wrestling. I just couldn't get into the hype. But now.... now it is cool because not only do you get to see guys with great 80's hair that think they are soooo cool, but the soundtrack is right out of 1986. It is AWESOME. Thank you Youtube.
As it turns out wrestlers are quite athletic. I know because I am learning some wrestling moves, and they are not kidding around. I don't know if they could have done it without the steroids.
I'll let you know when I make it big. Maybe my name could be

The age old problem of gold snippets in the keyboard.
I try to dump them out, but the keyboard wont let them go. Maybe my keyboard likes them. Maybe they are like the little sprinkles that you sneak from the spice cupboard, and the keyboard is gobbling them up.

The excuse

I have a good excuse. Good excuse for what, you say? For why my blog doesn't actually have a blog on it yet. I mean, if I am going to write I should be writing the internship application letter that was due last week. Or I should study for my test on the Middle East.
But, I am not doing those things at the moment am I? In truth I am being paid to make jewelry right now, not sit the cosmos down for a chat.
I dont know if a blog is such a great idea for me. I already have a habit of talking to inanimate objects, now I am going to start talking to the cosmos too.
