Thoughts for Dec 31

Weird how the "New Year" brings introspective thoughts.
I recently came across a blog I wrote earlier this year. It was interesting because I had totally forgotten about it. I would share it with you, but it is a secret. Just kidding I'll tell you.
When this year started, I felt like it was going to be a year of change for me. I didn't know what would change, but somehow I could feel big things on the horizon. Good things. It was kind of exciting.
So, in April I applied and was accepted to BYU.
Then in July I sold my house, paid off all my debts and moved in with my parents.
Then I met someone who I really like and he helps me stretch and grow and learn so much every day.
It has been a good year.
I tried being a computer geek for a while.
I tried being a seamstress for a while.
But mostly I study a lot and make jewelry a little and everything works out.
Wonder what next year will bring....

One other thing needs to go on your list of things you juggle: your children. They're bright and fun and great kids, and that's mostly because of you. I love to see you with your kids because you're a good mom, and help them and teach them and model for them a righteous life. And that's no small thing.

How fun to feel like good changes are on the horizon. Is that cute guy in the entry below the same as the person you met and like?
I also want to know if you feel the same about 2008? Big things still on the horizon? 'Course you can only sell your house and get accepted to BYU once, I suppose. I hope you are enjoying school, even though it can be stressful. love, Trina

Yep thats him.
I don't really feel the same about 2008. I am actually hoping for stability this year. Maybe I will eventually get my room clean and totally unpacked and painted. That would be a nice change. But that is about it.
School is great. Stressful to be sure. Monday was the first day of the semester. In one of my classes I actually had the thought "I am so glad to be back in school."
Silly Demi, I was ready to kill someone 3 weeks ago. But yeah, I like it.

Demi! So glad that you blogging! You're just feeding my addiction, and I love it! It's so good to hear that you had such a great year. I saw your girls the other day at Walmart and they are so grown up! I couldn't believe it. It sounds like your life is just super busy and full. I hope that we can keep in touch this way! love and buckets, Bets
